This is for my 6 year old for his birthday but my 9 year old was straight into it playing saying its so cool so I'm sure my 6 year old will love it. The torch is not that bright but for a child it's fine and it comes with a nice bag to put it all in. Nice kit for any kids of all ages as my 11 Yr old likes it too
