I’m new to wood carving so I have not tried any other sets besides ones that were loaned, but these are wonderful. I’m doing small projects and have no complaints. They feel sturdy but they are small so I apply pressure cautiously but as I learn more about technique I feel these will hold up well for small projects. The sharpening stone is very thoughtful since the blades need to be very sharp for details. Happy carving to you all!
