This kit lacks any instructions so I had to go back to the page I bought it from just to see how to use it. This is very frustrating when you are trying to do a craft with kids who are eager to get started. This kit came in a plain white cardboard box. There were no instructions in the box or on the packaging. If I were to send this as a gift, I would have to either copy and paste the instructions from the product description into an email to send to the gift recipient or I would have to direct them to the page where I purchased it from.
Once we figured out how to properly use the kit, we had fun creating our flower vase. The kit comes with a wooden vase, 25 green metallic wires for flower stems, a small plastic faux flower bouquet with purple flowers, 4 tulle flowers in pastel colors, 25 large and 25 small colorful plastic buttons, 25 flower shaped felt buttons and 5 bags of clay made of super tiny Styrofoam beads and a foam type slime. There was also a strip of 4 double sized foam tape gemstone stickers but the kit did not come with any gemstones. The vase looks to be made of sawdust and glue which was then pressed into a mold to shape. We first began by softening up the clay with our hands and then stuck it onto the vase and pressed it down to secure it. While we waited for it to dry, we began making the flowers. We folded the wire in half and strung on a small button, a large button and a felt button (in that order) to create a flower. We twisted the two ends of the wire together below the buttons to keep them in place. After the vase had dried, we used the gemstone stickers to attach the tulle flowers to the sides of the vase. My daughter was proud of her creation and displays it on a shelf in her room.
