VERY NICE LAMP! It says desk lamp but I will be using it on my nightstand! I think it will be very helpful when reading in bed! The whole top half of the lamp is movable/bendable but study at the same time. This is a very well made lamp that can be used in more locations than just a desk!!! Love it!
