It's hard to believe it has been two years since Pep gave up cheer. I know there are days I miss it and there are days where I think deep down she might miss it a little......but just a little. Even if she did want to go back, I really don't know how she would even make that work between Civil Air Patrol, flying and Theatre (and school theatre at that!!!).
So she has been looking at alternative sport possibilities as needed for her USAFA application. She has looked at Volleyball and Lacrosse - both team sports and full of a cardio workout if needed. But no - Kiddo has asked for boxing gloves.
Boxing Gloves!!!!!! What?????!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?! So I found these 12 ounce Red Boxing Gloves on Amazon. I was worried they would be a little large for her hands but they Velcro around the wrist provided the ability to make a snug fit. The gloves also allowed my daughter to curl her hand up appropriately. They also seemed to provide for a snug fit and also have an antimicrobial layer.

My only upset with this purchase was that the package at the top was physically cut open and there a small slice in the top of the glove. While I received these gloves at a discount, having them have a defect from the time I opened the box does not appeal to me. Meanwhile, I am sure Pep will get a lot of use out of them
