I got these gloves to use on my cat. I was afraid that my cat might see this coming at him and freak out. He was a little leary at first, but once I started petting him with it, he couldn't get enough. He was head butting everything around us the whole time I was petting him with it. It took off a lot of the loose hair and was easy to clean out of the glove. I say it was a winner! I didn't use the lick pad, but will give it to my friend who has a larger dog.
