A decent exerciser at a great price

I got this hand exerciser because I wanted to improve my grip strength. I cut my hand a few years ago and since then I've found my hand starting to ache if I need to hold something for any length of time, so when I saw this I thought maybe it would help. 

For the price of this item I wasn't really expecting much. I thought it would be in cheap packaging, probably feel a bit cheap, and might have a sticky, squeaky mechanism. When I received the exerciser I was pleasantly surprised. As I'm sure you'll be able to see from my pictures it comes in a very nice, good quality box and the hand strengthener itself feels very sturdy, is made from good quality plastic with soft feeling rubber pads for your fingers, soft rubber on the bottom to protect your palm, and the springs and adjustment knobs are made of brass. Overall it's a very nice product that looks and feels good in your hands. 

When it comes to using this I first thought it was a bit too easy with not a lot of resistance, even at its toughest settings. Maybe my grip was stronger than I thought. After using it for a few minutes though you really start to feel it working, my hand started to ache and I found some fingers having an easier time than others... Cue adjustment! Each finger can be adjusted individually meaning if one or two are finding it easier than the others you can easily adjust the tension, and thus the difficulty, for those fingers so your whole hand is getting a good workout.

I feel this would be an excellent product for musicians needing to strengthen their fingers, people who have lost strength in their hands due to injury, or really just anyone who wants to have a stronger grip in general. It could possibly even be suitable for those who just want something to fidget with, though it's a lot tougher on your hands than your average fidget spinner or stress ball! 

Overall I think this is a great product and if you're in any of the categories of people I suggested this may be useful to then I wouldn't hesitate buying it and getting ready to improve that hand grip!
