Firstly a two pack! A his and hers? A spare? One for the garage and one for the loft? They are relatively light and easy to wear. Adjust the elasticised strap properly and they are pretty comfortable. The light itself is very bright at it's brightest - and comes six (in my count) light modes ranging from various levels of white - through to red and a flashing red mode to boot.
The functionality of the switches is excellent. Firstly there's an on/off switch. Yes yes, what a novelty. An LED torch with different modes that doesn't require you to trawl through them all each time to get back to off. A second button allows switching of said modes whilst on. Simple. A third (and last) button turns on/off what is actually a pretty neat feature when you use it. To toggle the headlight on/off - just wave your hand reasonably close to the device. Works perfectly and I can see it actually being quite useful in some situations (e.g. somewhere dar where you need to chat to someone on a stop start basis - but decide you won't blind them with the brilliance of your headtorch. Quick wave - off. Quick wave - on.
