This works just as described. There is only one issue I foresee. The power supply is very vulnerable, mounted on the side (landscape view) with no support for the cable.
I believe that if you are very careful this will be a great product. But, one clumsy bump or mistake and it might be the end of it.
This is solely my opinion, but take heed.
