got these to help my living room rug from moving all over the place due to the kids and the dog. So far they are holding up. They come in a package of 8 so you can do 2 rugs or save them for replacements. They have double sided tape. Once you remove both sides of the tape you attach to the carpet and than just press down on the floor and the carpet stays put.
