Do not let the lightweight fool you! This guitar stand is highly durable and holds my instrument better than I expected. I love that the stand is extremely portable, so when I want to take my guitar with me when I am traveling. It is simple to fold up and put in the trunk of my car. It works well on carpet and hardwood floor ( I have personally used it on both and had no problems).
