Prayer beads

I purchased this bracelet/necklace because of the pretty beads more than the Buddhist significant, as I'm note particularly religious. The white shell beads have beautiful markings that give them depth and interest. The red cinnabar beads have carvings that are delicate. The turquoise beads are a lovely contrasting color that sets off the white and turquoise equally. This can be worn as a necklace or a bracelet, although I prefer the bracelet, as it shows off the varying colors better.  The beads are approximately 6mm in diameter, and all perfectly smooth. This jewelry comes in a very nice box, and is ready to be given as a gift without any alteration, so it can be sent directly to a loved one. I would not change a thing about this piece.
