Tastes okay, easy to make

I am not a huge tea drinker, but do enjoy having some every  now and then. When I saw that I could get the detox benefits AND weight loss in a tea, I figured I could try it out daily for two weeks and see how it goes.  I love the fact this comes with the diffuser, too, so I could easily make my tea each morning.   The diffuser is not only cute, but works great. I have a problem with it bobbing in the water until the tea inside gets wet enough to hold it down, but it doesn't take long. And you don't have to stand there holding it. You can set it in the glass with the water and as it absorbs liquid, it begins to sink down where it easily diffuses. It is easy to open and fill, though I tend to be messy with putting tea in mine and end up with bits and pieces on the countertop when trying to put it back together.   I had no problem with the taste of the tea. I liked it. It was not strong at all, but not sweet or tangy. It was a little boring in my opinion, but not anything I couldn't drink. It wasn't something I looked forward to each day, but also wasn't something I dreaded. It was just a morning drink I had before my day began.   They do recommend you take it on an empty stomach, which I tried to do each day I have had it. I did have a few days I didn't get to make my tea until later in the day, so had already eaten and drank some. But it didn't seem to make any difference in how my body responded to it.   As for how I responded, I honestly can't say I saw any difference. I definitely didn't have any digestive issues that it caused or addressed. My bowels remained the same. And if I was bloated at all during the time I drank it, I didn't know because I didn't notice any difference in the way my clothes fit or how I felt. I definitely did not lose any weight while drinking it. So I didn't see any change with adding this to my daily routine.   Does that mean it doesn't work? By far no. It may work wonders for some, and reviews on Amazon seem to show that. I have always had trouble losing weight, and just turned 40, so it is all the harder for me now. Nothing works for me when it comes to weight loss. And I don't believe I was bloated, as there were no hormonal fluxes during the time that may have included bloating. It just didn't work for my body's needs. Do your research and decide for yourself if this will work for you. If you are like me and have trouble with weight loss, this is probably not what you want to try.
