I use this for all sorts of things, not just shoes. It come with hooks so that you can easily install it on the back of a door. One room was grandkids toys in it. One room has my jewlery and brushes, nail polish, and other girly things. One room actually has shoes in it. As long as I have doors, I have extra storage.
