One of my grandsons go to the hospital often because of his asthma and the a/c in the children's hospital is as cold as it should be and then some degrees below that. This blanket is so soft and warm and cozy, he loves it. This is as warm as a comforter without the bulk, easy to wash and take care of. Other than the hospital at home he brings it to the couch on movie night and back to his room it is.
