This wallpaper comes rolled neatly and wrapped in clear plastic. I consider this more of “contact paper” than wallpaper, even though you can put it on your walls. This paper is not as thick as the wallpaper that I have experience with. This paper has a lined peel-away back compared to wallpaper that has to be wet to activate the paper glue on the back. I suppose it can be called “peelable wallpaper”. Having said that, one of the advantages of this paper is that it would be easy to clean. Just wipe it down with a damp cloth or sponge.
The color of this paper is not exactly red. I consider it more of a brown.
I actually like the brown color. I think it looks more authentic and realistic, even though it is considered “faux” wallpaper. This paper measures approximately 18” inches wide and about 16 feet long. It has a peel-off adhesive backing. It seems to be very easy to peel off. I tried peeling off the backing and thought I would struggle with the corner of the paper like I have done many times with other paper but was surprised when I immediately was able to peel away the backing. My intended use for this paper is actually not to put on on a wall but I purchased it to cut to size and put on small backdrops for photo shoots. This one roll will work for several projects. I think it would work really well for small walls and would be perfect to line shelves and cabinets.
