Excellent quality pumice stones, not a fan of the file though

I needed to replace my old pumice stone now that the weather is getting colder and my skin starts getting dry and flaky, especially on my feet and heels. During the summer it's easy to keep my feet looking great, because I never wear socks and my feet are always free to breathe and get some sun in sandals. In the winter though, my skin gets dry, my feet are trapped in socks all day/night and tend to start to crack and even hurt at times from sweat and moisture getting trapped with no room to breathe. The quality of the two pumice stones in this 3 piece set far exceeded my expectations. Some pumice stones almost seem like they have some type of coating or film on them that when wet, feels kinda slick, or smoothed out. These on the other hand, even when wet, stay dry and rough feeling, with the perfect amount of abrasiveness to get all the dead skin and calluses off, without tearing up my feet or making them swell from the dead skin that didn't get removed all the way clogging up all the pores on the top and sides of my feet. The metal foot file it comes with is... Intense. It's HUGE. Like almost a foot long huge. And the holes and spacing on the actual grate part are too big and too far apart for me to even consider using on my sensitive feet. I actually pit it side-by-side next to my cheese grater in the kitchen to see the difference and I was shocked to see that the spacing and openings on my cheese grater were smaller and closer together than the foot file! Not being one to spend money on something and not use it, it now has become my favorite grater for DIY soap making projects. It works better than the one I was using before, but I still stool one star away as the intended purpose for the file is to remove dead skin on your feet, not grate soap.
