This is the perfect size for my small place. The sound is okay and I love that I can connect to my laptop and record mp3s of all my vintage albums. It plays 33s or 45s and you can connect external speakers to it (which would give you a better sound). It won't replace a high-tech, several-hundred-dollar system but for those of you like me who just wanted a way to play all those vintage albums currently stuck in the closet--it's a great little machine.
PROS:

CONS:
The sound is okay for occasional listening but adding additional speakers would help
