So easy a 6 year old used it. Self-balanced like all smart hoverhoards... my grandson had about an hour of fun... we had the bluetooth speakers going too. It lights up better than pictured on Amazon. Only thing I would suggest is to get a bag to carry it in. As with most they are heavy and could be dropped. The speakers are not very loud but the user can hear the music. I got about 60 feet from him and there were no skips in the music. I then had a 180 pound 6 foot man (my son) get on it and he said there was good control and it was pretty easy. I'm not sure as to how long the battery would last on a single charge but we used it about one hour. We used it on three separate occasions; large indoor building, once on concrete/ asphalt and tried in grass... but the grass of course was not good. It's pretty fun.
