Hard to put together and flimsy, missing pieces

This shoe shelf looks like it would be great. But it was super hard for my hubby to put together, and it's missing the bottom part so it's not right. Not sure how long it will last. For what it is at lease all our shoes are organized. But it's not a living room piece...more like garage. Wish we had the bottom piece to stabalize the unit.
