I was super excited when I received this voice amplifier. Everything is easy to assemble and very self explanatory. I was able to use my voice amplifier immediately upon plugging in the headphones. So no charging first is required. There is a volume control so I can whisper or turn it up loud into a shout. There is also a slot that supports mp3 so I could play music in the back round while entertaining guest, or at a party.
