This is a set of eye-catching and very funky looking gaming headphones, which works perfectly with my new X-box One, PS4 and PC games. The ONIKUMA K1-B gaming headset comes in a nice presentation box. I like the design of the headphones. They’re adjustable, lightweight and made of relatively lightweight, robust feeling black and blue plastics, with stainless steel for the extenders, which you use to adjust the headphones to size.
The blue coloured earmuffs are covered with a cushioned faux leather material, which is soft and supple, and comfortable over the ears. The inner side of the 5 cm wide headband is similarly padded with the soft, cushioned faux leather material, and is comfortable on top of the head.
The headphones have a contrasting bright blue around the edge of the earpieces and the cushioned pad on the headband. They have a microphone at the end of a 15.5 cm long flexi-tube. The headphones are powered by a pretty strong 50 mm driver, which gives a thumping bass response.
The headphones are attached to a flexible blue and black coloured, woven braided audio cable with a 3.5 mm, silver coloured metal connector, which has an attractive, blue coloured aluminium housing with a black coloured plastic rear. The cable has a very handy 2.2 m length with a 4 mm thick diameter, which looks and feels like it should prove pretty resilient in use.
The headphones come with an extension lead, which has a twin set of 3.5 mm silver coloured output jacks with a pink and green coloured plastic housing, for connecting the headphones to a PS4.
The main black and blue coloured lead has a black coloured control panel, with a rotary dial for volume control, and a black coloured ON/OFF sliding control button for 3D sound effect. The sound quality is amazing.
I enjoy using these headphones when I'm gaming. Although they’re just a little bit on the chunky side, the lightweight materials mean that they're not cumbersome or a burden to wear, even when gaming for extended periods of time.
