My husband got Nintendo switch for himself and our 6.5 yo and to his fault didn't think of getting a protective case for it. As a result few weeks later he found biig scratches on the back of the device. Needless to say he was mad at kids lol and even more mad at me when I told him it's his fault for not getting protective case. Kids being kids regardless intentionally or unintentionally will cause some damage to things you cherish lol.

This cover is inexpensive and nothing fancy but it serves its purpose well. I recommend getting it
