HONG111 LED Sewing Machine Light is ok. The magnet isn’t as strong as I anticipated it being. It doesn’t stick well to any machines that have plastic over the metal. I figured it would stick to my plastic machine since there is metal inside and it doesn’t have enough strength to stay secure during use. Otherwise it works well on my other machine, which is all metal. Instead I attach the light to my overhead lamp I use. It works great like that. My overall impression of the item is that it’s on the inexpensive side. The box was mostly in a different language and the translation was not done well. But, the light itself works, it’s bright, and I like that it has a convenient on/off switch right on the base. The neck is super flexible and I could definitely see this light working in other situations where you could use a magnetic light like working on a vehicle or during other crafts.
All in all, it’s a nice little light. It’s bright, attaches well to metal, and has a nice on/off switch. I would recommend it for metal application only, not for plastic covered machines.
