Very handy

I got this change counter because collecting change is surprisingly a very easy way to save for my kids college. I previously would sit down once a month and count all of my change by hand, then distribute it evenly between both children, and write a note detailing the totals. Now, however, I no longer have to set aside time or energy to do that. This jar simply keeps count of the change as I put it in, and does all the work for me. There is plenty of room for a lot of change and I don't foresee having to empty it for at least a year. The only flaw I've found is that if your hand slips and the coin doesn't go in, it counts the denomination anyway and you have to reset and start over. Once you're aware to firmly push the coins, it's no longer an issue.
