I love having a smart home because I can schedule my lights, appliances, and anything else that I want to turn on and off when I wish. It is very nice to be able to turn on or off a lamp or other device so that they are not using electricity unnecessarily, and also so that it appears that someone is always in my home, even when no one is there. This plug allows me to not only effectively split one plug into two (while still being able to use the other plug in the outlet), but to add smart functionality to those plugs. The plugs can each be turned on or off individually, and can be put on a timer or otherwise controlled from my phone or Alexa. I haven't had any issues with using these plugs and have found them to be both easy to set up and to use.
