Bought this to listen to sounds of waves, rain, ocean etc when I'm going to sleep.
My husband likes it quiet so I usually use headphones, this is better because its more comfortable and it also blocks the early morning light out aswell.
I can hear the sounds as well as expected and I'm happy with the build quality of it.
