This is my first Violin that I have ever owned so I can only state the obvious as I have nothing else to compare it to besides the ones I have seen out in the stores. This Mugig Violin is 4/4 full size and is made of solid wood, spruce top, and maple neck, it has a Brazil wood bow with Mongolian Horsehair.
This Violin has a beautiful finish on it giving it a very rich and expensive look, it has steel wire strings so I feel with proper care this piece should last a lifetime. It is lightweight so this makes it easy to hold for longer periods of time and this is a plus for me because I am a starter with the Violin.
There is a nice storage/carry bag included so you will have something to keep your piece in at all times to keep it free from dust and damage and also something to pack it from place to place with. I am so excited to learn how to play this and will update when I learn more.
