This light screen is very bright, particularly when compared to the fluorescent style I had been using. I was able to easily see through heavy watercolor paper with the ambient room lights turned down low. The touch sensitive on/off button on the top left corner allows the brightness to be controlled from minimum to maximum to minimum by the length of time your finger is on the button.

The light screen overall size is 10 5/8" wide by 14 1/8" long x 1/4" thick. The usable surface is 9" wide by 12 5/8" long. A 6 1/2 foot long USB cable is supplied but no power unit. The first power unit I tried was rated 0.15 amp which was not sufficient; the lights continually flickered. I finally ended up using a 2.0 amp power supply, and all worked well.

An adjustable tilt top stand with a lazy Susan bottom was supplied as was a metal clip to hold papers to the light screen. I have not used either, but they do seem very functional.

I have only had the light screen for 2 weeks so have little information about the overall reliability, and I do unplug the unit when it is not in use.
