I've only used the hair straightener & the curler but am happy so far with the results. My hair isn't too thick/chin length so styles tend to fall in Louisiana weather but my hair has stayed smooth/non-freezy with this iron. We'll see what happens once the humidity kicks up but so far so good. Side note: if giving as a gift, please note the packaging is a generic black box if you'd think that would matter to the recipient.
