I have had a horrible time finding a good mascara. I was willing to try this one out, though I have never heard of the brand nor had any idea of how well it might work. Having sensitive skin, I have to be careful which mascara I use because it begins to irritate my eyes and if I pick at it at all, I end up losing eyelashes and having gaping holes to try to hide. I am a horrible picker, so if it begins bugging me I will automatically start picking. This mascara is one I can use, but I have to use it sparingly - meaning I can only wear it once a week maybe and have to be sure to remove it when possible, which is an effort in and of itself for me since if I try to use make up wipes I end up wiping off eyelashes with the mascara, the same as picking. I have to really soak the eyelashes by holding a cotton ball doused in micellar water and once it is softened up then I am able to use the make up wipes to take it off while leaving eyelashes intact. But I can say I love to use this when I want dramatic lashes. It goes on a little thicker than I am used to, making it a bit clumpier than my usual look, but as long as I use a brush to seperate the clumps and draw the mascara from base to tip, I can get a decent look. But what impresses me is how long my lashes look when I use it! The lashes look longer and thicker than my daily use mascara, which is why I said I like this for more dramatic looks. I also always use waterproof and smudgeproof mascaras since I have a tendency to have watery eyes or cry easily and make a huge mess otherwise. This does not come off until I go through the above steps and even then is a chore! Definitely stays put! So whether it is a 5 star review from me or not, I can't say. On some things it is full 5 stars. But on others I can't say it is. I just wish it worked better with my sensitive skin. If there was a sensitive skin formula I would be all over it and love it!
