This is a very nice pepper grinder. It takes 6 aaa batteries and has an awesome light at the bottom that comes out as your grinding so you can see how much pepper you are getting. i would like for the grinds to be a bit finer but i think it will be perfect for cooking. You just push the button for it to work and there are many different sizes you can choose from you simply twist it to the setting you want.
