What a cool little amp this is. Pleased that the power cable and external input cable were included. The amp operates on 6 AA batteries or DC-12 (included).
Regarding the batteries-very secure fit, I would suggest a ribbon to be installed for ease of removal. Controls are a rocker switch for power switch with power on indicator light, Gain, Bass, Treble, Volume and Dist/Clean switch . The dist feature gives mild distortion with lots of sustain with the clean being very clean. This amp is PERFECT for my office guitar allowing a nice sound for an impromptu play. Small enough to be mobile to play outside on your deck or use as a speaker for your phone or music device. This is a great value amp compared to similar models at similar or even greater price points. I would definitely recommend.
