Was initially thinking about using them just in the kitchen but after trying them on got 2 more pairs to work with in the garage. Slid a kife over them and it showed no sign of damage, but I'll prefer not to test my luck with them yet. They fit me and also let my 10yr old wear them to see how well they fit. They are snug enough to be confortable but not interfere with handling tools like other work gloves.
