This is a great little gadget. My initial thought was to get this for my husband for quick soldering jobs, but since it came with multiple tips I opted to keep it and try my hand at wood burning. I used it with some small wooden circles that I bought for crafting and it works pretty good. It heated up quickly and has easy temperature control. Granted, I’ve never used an actual woodboring tool, so I have nothing to compare this to, but it seems to be quite good in my opinion.
