Nice for decorating with

My oldest stole these like he does with every set of battery operated lights. I don't know what his fascination is with stringing them up in his room and making it glow, but they DO make for a nice ambiance and atmosphere in the smaller bedroom. I may steal them back for Christmas, though, and use them on the hearth in all of the greenery above the stockings. The stars hang nicely, being small plastic like caps that fit snugly over the lights. They are operated with three batteries in a plastic pack that has a slide cover on it. They can be on solid or can be set to blink. I prefer them to blink when hanging on something like the hearth, but my son likes them to be solid when he has them hanging in his room and the lights out.
