I read reviews on amazon that said this hair chalk doesn't work right and it pulls the hair out. I started out with fam0 hair and ran some water over the hair chalk before I started.  They all worked great and left bright streaks of color through hair. 

I also love the design of the handle and brush. Very innovate.
