Beads feel sturdy and strong, but the string I wouldn't want to test out on durability. Regardless, super easy to wrap around the wrist a few times and let it show off itself. Minor hair tugging around the wrist but probably not anything a female would need to worry about....hopefully. Otherwise a nice wristband/bracelet to sport for a simple additional piece.
