Does exactly what it says it does

We have a big Christmas tree , so for us the 9 foot cable will reach the floor , but possibly could have been a bit longer to reach the extension cable to plug in . It's much lighter than I had expected, a bonus if balancing on the top of a tree. If you have a tall tree then the lights from this will be smaller if close to the ceiling . I think I preferred ours on a mantelpiece where it was free standing and cast larger snowflakes. The base does feel a little fragile however and we normally have an angel on top of the tree who regularly topples off , I'm not sure this would bounce as well . All in all though it works with relatively little sound in the motor , and would be an interesting talking point .
