EDUP HOME Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker Small In Size Loud & Clear In Volume

I am a fan of audio books, audio plays and podcasts as I can be doing other things whilst enjoying my audios. I use a Bluetooth speaker either connected to my phone or laptop so I can easily move it about with me from room to room. Unfortunately my old speaker has developed a fault so I needed a replacement, I wanted something small but with decent quality sound with a good volume and good connectivity plus the ability to be used outdoors too.

I saw this one from EDUP HOME, read the specs and checked it's size and decided to give it a try. First of all although the description say's something about surround stereo this can only be achieved by using two of these speakers linked together so if you only buy one speaker you will get mono sound. I knew this before buying this speaker and so this is being reviewed as a mono speaker which if okay for my requirements.

Measuring 3.5 x 3.5 x 1.5 inches and weighing approx 7 ounces this Bluetooth speaker is ideal for carrying around whilst listening to audio tracks on the move. The additional feature of being able to play audio tracks from a micro SD memory card is very useful because you can put all your favourite tracks on the card so you can play listen to your music or books independent of any other devices. 

This Bluetooth speaker also has an LED colour changing circular accent which also flashes to the rhythm and sound levels of the music playing. Some will find this a great feature but i find it annoying  and thankfully it can be turned off. The sound quality is quite good for the size of the speaker with a good amount of bass to stop it from sounding tinny. At normal volume levels the sound is clear and even when  pushed to the highest volume the quality only does drop a little. Pairing it to my phone was easy and connectivity remained good within all the rooms of my flat. I put in a memory card with MP3 tracks and the speaker was able to play them without any problems.

When paired with a phone it's possible to use this speaker as a hands free device as it has a built in microphone but I tend not to use that feature but for those that do I expect they find this a good feature. After testing this for a few days I'm happy with this Bluetooth speaker and if it stays reliable for a few years I'll be very happy.
