These are very thick and useful.  I haven't tried them at the b-b-q (too cold) but they worked well in the kitchen.  They are large though and I wear a small glove so I've gifted them to my brother next door who does most of our outdoor cooking anyway and he was thrilled.  They work much better for his larger hands and he'll get a LOT of use out of them.  The have red on one side and blue on the other.  I'm please with the purchase but would like a choice as to size so I could have some of my own :)
