This is a very handy laser tape measure, with a limit of 50 meters (165 feet). It will measure in meters, feet, inches, or feet/inches. It can calculate distande, area, volume, and solve for third leg of triangle. It is operated by 2-AAA alkaline batteries (included). The batteries are installed by removing the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
The LCD readout is backlit and easy to read. The unit is easy to operate. It includes a wrist strap and a carrying case with belt loop, making the device easily available while out on the job. We are doing a major re-flooring job at our home and this measure will be a great help in the job. And the price is very reasonable for a high-quality device.
