Very powerful

My oldest has struggled with his acne since he was in 5th grade. He has really had a hard time with it and we have gone through countless products trying to find something that works for him. Unfortunately, the poor child has my skin, so once he finds something that seems to be working, within a few weeks it stops because his skin has adjusted to it. So we are constantly having to look for new things to try. I saw this drying lotion and decided it was worth trying.

  He used it last night for the first time, so I can't give a review on how it works for the long haul. I am hoping this helps him out and works for awhile so he can work it in to his rotation of products and keep his skin clear until he outgrows the hormonal acne stage of life. He is a freshman in high school, so hopefully it won't last too much longer and we won't have to go through too much more hunting and trying out of products.   He washed his face as usual, then he got a cotton ball and this lotion and dabbed it on to the problem areas on his face and neck. He said it is very strong and smells horrible when applying. He said you breathe the fumes in as you are dabbing it on. I didn't notice a smell when I was taking pictures and feeling the consistency, but I also didn't put it on my face. He said it is very strong and potent when applying.   But he also said it doesn't hurt (unless you do happen to have an open spot, which you are not supposed to apply it to). It dried quickly and he said he didn't feel like his skin was tight or drawing up, which is impressive since it is a drying lotion and normally that is how it feels. Within ten minutes of applying it he said he couldn't tell he had put anything on.   This morning his skin appears to be looking a little better, but he has his good days and bad days with his skin. It is too early to tell if it is working. One application won't make a difference. But he is going to keep trying and see if it helps. Today his skin tone was a bit more even, so it definitely helped dry things out a bit so that he didn't have the redness of inflamed pores. Hopefully each day will get better.   This may work out for him after all.
