I have 2 straightening brushes, but my hair is waist length and they often tangle part way down, and it's really hard to get close to my scalp because of the width.
My hair is naturally wavy/ curly so the flyaway baby hairs around my face and especially at the nape of my neck tend to look a little frizzy and when I wear my hair up, they look pretty messy, but this style of straightener allows me to get close enough to my scalp that I can smooth and control those unruly little puffs very easily.
It also makes curling the ends under much easier so they don't look so blunt. It creates a very nicely groomed and polished look that I absolutely love!
