Powerful Torch

This is a solidly built torch. It takes 4AA batteries that are not included. It's around 6.5 inches in length and with the batteries in has some weight to it. It's extremely bright on the highest setting, even when adjusted to its widest angle. For home use during a power cut it is more than anyone could ask for as it can illuminate whole rooms brightly. The third mode, that requires three on and off clicks could blind/deter almost anyone im the dark (a completely legal self defence I'm the UK). It's good value and feels absolutely solid.
