I bought this set of wood slices by Lee-Bute for quick and easy rainy day arts and crafts for my grandson to do H

Hepainted one side of several slices and once dried he wrote who he was giving it to and the year 2018 all on the reverse side

I love that these wood slices come with a predrilled hole at the top and just. Once my grandson was done creating his "masterpiece" I cut a piece of the just and strung it through the hole and tied a knot at the top. Voila! A very easy Christmas Ornament.

But you can use them year round as a name tag for presents, or instead of the just you can add a magnet to the back and you have a nice handmade refrigerator magnet.

For Valentine's Day I plan on having my grandson cut out Pink , Red ,& White heart's from construction paper. Then hellhglue them on the wood and then we'll seal it with decopauge.  He will then put a premade magnet removing the stickt side and placing it on the back. Voila again! A very easy Valentine's Day craft.

You can also glue several together and add cork to one side (available at craft stores by the sheet) and you can decorate the other with markers or paint and then seal with polyurethane and create coasters.

With 50 slices for under $20 there's so many crafts you can make for literally way under $1 per craft . These are items that will be cherrished by those who receive them for years, something one can't put a price on.
