It does replace costly audio player in car. pleased with this purchase, it was to connect phone to car stereo. The device is pretty much plug and play and goes straight into a cigarette lighter. Once you have found a open FM frequency you just have to match the device to your radio and it's good to go. Then pair your phone to the device and away you go. I did find a little interference at times from my phone, but overall the sound quality is great given the nature of the device and the price. It is a bonus that this can be connect to this transmitter via Bluetooth and connects well via FM to the car stereo. Also phone can be charged whilst connected via the usb cable too, saves on the battery whilst Bluetooth is on.
