I'm gonna admit this. I have no idea what this thing does but my teenager said 'If you wanna see me happy, get me one.' I did and she is. I hear her doing lives on her computer and she tells me that this mic makes her sound gooood. Her word, not mine. She's happy and likes me for today at least.
