I have purchased the 25 pc White Painting Rocks from BigOtters and decided to try for the 20Pc Dark Gray. I received 23 rocks, more than the listed 20, but some of the rocks were a little smaller than I had hoped, as not all measured 2-3". I am still satisfied with the purchase because my kids painted them and had a blast, but would not purchase this set again unless I was looking for smaller rocks specifically. Instead, I would purchase the white rocks, as every set has been large and high quality flat rocks, perfect for painting. As far as rock quality, these rocks were easy to paint and were smoothish. The finished product was harder for the younger kids, but older kids and adults that have more coordination could easily decorate these smaller rocks with ease.
