Pretty, but very long

I am a jewelry junkie, and I readily admit it. But I am also a cheapo when it comes to buying  jewelry and low cost  baubles. I hate spending more than $20 on something I wear only once in awhile, though I have more jewelry in  my bedroom than I will ever be able to wear (much of it never worn). My husband laughs at how much I have, since I rarely wear jewelry, but I am constantly picking up things where I can. And I DO wear it, for the most part. But it is far and few in between since I am a stay at home mom and don't go out much except for Scouting events and when I am contracted to supervise student teachers.

But I loved the look of these sterling silver dangly earrings made with circle plates and had to add them to my collection. I got them because they hang and I need more silver earrings that I can wear with my studs. My ears are double pierced so I like to use a stud on the top hole and dangly earrings on the bottom.   These are longer earrings made up of 9 silver circle plates wired together to allow them to move freely. The design is done in a diamond shape, small at top, widening in the middle, then tapering off at the bottom again. They are hook earrings, so have no backs and hang nicely without dragging your ear down. They are lightweight, so you won't have to worry about them being heavy and irritating your ears after wearing them for extended periods of time.

They are definitely longer than I expected, though. I have a short neck, so most dangly stuff drags on my shoulders, which annoys me. These do the same. They are too long for my short neck, but I absolutely love the look of the design, so might endure the annoyance of them touching my shoulders since I like the overall look they give. They are made of stainless steel, I believe, though the listing says they are gold plated, so are good for hypoallergenic needs and sensitive ears. I put them on for awhile and wore them with no problems, so that tells me they are hypoallergenic, because if not, my ears would have started itching and turning red within a few minutes of putting them on. But I was able to wear them for an hour to try them out with no pain or discomfort at all.

If you are looking for a set of dangly silver earrings, this is a great option.
